The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) libraries offer access to many Middlesex County records.
Vital Records - some births, marriages & death records have been published. Some marriage indexes & early district marriages are microfilmed. Indexes to the early vital records of Ontario are available on microfilm. No certificates for these events are available at our Branch.
Newspapers - some local papers are on microfilm - see your local librarian for listings.
City and County Directories, from 1856 on, are microfilmed.
Early Settlers are listed in The Middlesex County Atlas 1878, and the Tremaine map (1862).
Census Records of all townships are microfilmed for the years 1842, 1851-52, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901. Indexes are available for 1851, 1861 and 1871.
Land Records of all townships are microfilmed and available through the:

Many Church Records are microfilmed and available through the LDS libraries. They are also found in the Regional Collection of the University of Western Ontario, London, ON., and various denominational Archives in the province.
Cemetery Records - all Middlesex Co. and City cemeteries have been recorded and are available for sale from our Publication List. They are also available at the Ontario Genealogical Society Reference Library, Toronto, the Ontario Archives. An index for these records may be found on the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid on the internet.
