Strangers of Kindness ebook cover My eBook, The Strangers of Kindness, is available now at The Fiction Works' eBooksite .  Two unrelated-to-each-other novellas of strangeness. But a fun read, I think.

J.G. Stinson reviewed it in Issue 2.19 (December 9, 2000) issue of Dark Matter Chronicles , too. Since it can't be linked-to, here's a snippet:

"[in 'People Like Them'] Hickman has crafted a logical, well-paced, believable story (just look at the options for the 2000 presidential election and tell me you aren’t concerned for the future of America) with characters who come easily to life in the story, making them just sympathetic enough to be concerned about, but not so perfect that they become boring."
And about "The Wedding Present," she said: "[it] returns to ground that many of us began reading SF to find: characters who make us care about what happens to them, in difficult and challenging circumstances over which we want them to triumph, and an ending that makes us feel good. Hickman has done all that and more in this story; I can’t remember when I’ve been so positively affected as I was by reading this story."
<Whew!> So far, so good!  If you read my ebook, let me know how you like it, all right? Email me here .
