Terry's nin (and others) page--

part of

(concert "report" added 2/18/06)

Nine Inch Nails stuff:

The official nin site, nin.com, has the current small-venue tour info on it under "Current."

I wrote up my own little concert report on last night's show at the Pershing in Lincoln, NE, here.

Ahem.  Sorry.  Lost it there for a  minute.  I see the venue (Pershing Center in Lincoln, NE) has this long damn list of things you can NOT take in with you - including water bottle, camera, etc etc.  So, dammit, I won't be able to get any pictures.  It's just as well, I'm a crappy concert photo-taker (see my Bright Eyes photos for proof).  so I'll just go, and enjoy, and *try* to get a setlist, and report back here.  I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!  Ahem.  Sorry again.

nin.com also has the video of "the hand that feeds" for your viewing and listening pleasure. It takes a long time to load, so bring your knitting. It is, of course. Worth The Wait.

Don't forget to check in at Meathead's regularly because now that nin's actually doing things, the Meathead's ridiculing them and us about it again.

Some Stuff I Wrote about nin music a long time ago:

Someone wrote me yesterday (2/14/06, a little Valentine, aww) to let me know

the following two links were screwed up. Now they're fixed. Hope you like the essays.

an essay about Nine Inch Nails' "Happiness In Slavery"--click here if you're brave enough to read it.

an essay about  "Closer"--the video. Think you've seen it? Bet you missed something...click here to find out.

If you want to comment, email me--I'm an email addict--I'd love to hear from you.

Links to some other nin fan sites (some may be defunct)::

Seems Like Salvation      best, most reliable and up to date nin site on the web!

absence of faith     great photos, lyrics, info and other stuff

painful convictions    won the Yahoo! Best Fan Site Award in 2000!  Congrats, Matt!

The Meathead Perspective     if you've learned, as I have, that the best satire springs from admiration, then you'll LOVE the Meathead's Perspective! If you haven't found this guy yet, I envy you the belly-laughs waiting in his archives to grab you by the throat and head-bang your blues away. (I know it doesn't make any sense--I'm just getting you primed for the Meathead.)

Looking for a site that plays REAL alternative rock, 24/7, over the internet?
Try listening to 3wk! If you've got at least a 28.8K modem,
a sound card, and RealAudio (you can get it free
through a link at the 3WK web site),
go there, click on "Listen" and bliss out.
Here  is their link.
There's a whole lot more great music Out There than your radio station is playing! I like to start 'er up and then do my web browsing. (And oh, yeah: they play Bright Eyes and Nine Inch Nails, too!)

Did you know that IndustrialnatioN Magazine has its own Web page?

***And if you want to see and/or buy the coolest possible rock art, try Derek Hess's Gallery. Derek Hess is one talented guy, and he's pretty
nice to talk to, also. ***
