To Adler and Weismann's excellent response I might add that this betrays a
greater interest in "winning the game" than in seeking justice. The
attitude displayed here reveals a good reading and application of
Machiavellian principles. 

What good is it to know what is right and just if it will be compromised in
order to win?

There simply is no justice and therefore no good in "winning the game" when
the means to the end necessarily involves an injustice.
